A list of essentials for your VQ Cycling Camp

Being prepared for camp isn't just about getting the training miles in, but also having the right gear for your trip. We want you to be as comfortable as possible throughout each day of camp. To help you, we have put together a recommended packing list, for both on and off the bike.

RIDE CLOTHING

Cycling Gear

  • Short sleeve cycling jerseys
  • Cycling shorts and/or bib shorts
  • Base layers
  • Wind vest
  • Cycling cap/head gear
  • Short finger cycling gloves
  • Active socks
  • Arm & knee warmers
  • Shoe covers
  • Cycling helmet

Triathlon Gear

  • Swimsuit

RIDE GEAR

  • Bike computer
  • Stocked saddle bag (tubes, tire levers, co2, etc)
  • Sunscreen & lip balm
  • Emergency contact & insurance info
  • Di2 charging cable (if you have electronic shifting)
  • Chamois creme
  • Road ID
  • Water bottles (VQ will provide 2 water bottles upon arriving at camp)

TRAVEL ESSENTIALS

  • Camp guide
  • Cell phone
  • Charging cables
  • Comfortable clothing for post-rides
  • Dinner attire: casual
  • Sweater/jacket for cool evenings
  • Athletic shoes & flip flops
  • Toiletries
  • Necessary medication

  • Cash for incidentals and gratuities

IN CASE OF WEATHER

We recommend being prepared for all weather conditions to be the most comfortable on the bike in any weather situation.
