Immerse yourself in a triathlon specific training weekend with VQ Coaches, where we'll pack in one-on-one coaching on the bike, run and swim and breakout sessions covering everything from race day gear selection to hydration strategies.

Our weekend will be based at Rocket Cycles. With our swims, bikes and runs starting all at one place, access to the store for supplies and a great cup of coffee, it's the perfect location to call home base for a weekend of training with our top triathlon coaches.

Our expert VQ coaches will do a deep dive into each of the 3 disciplines with you to improve your technique and apply it in your training & racing. No matter what your triathlon goals are, our training weekend will provide you golden nuggets to lead you to the path of success:

  • One-on-one coached dryland swim sessions on the VASA trainer along with open water swim clinics focusing on sighting and skills will give you the boost in swim speed you've been looking for
  • Learn about on-the-bike fueling in a breakout session, practice your nutrition plan on the bike course
  • Our coaches will help you master running off the bike during our transition runs

Swim

In swimming, technique is far more important than fitness. Our coaches have 30+ years of swim coaching experience and will teach you how to:

  • Move through the water more efficiently
  • Improve technique, overall swimming efficiency
  • Build swimming speed & your confidence in the water
  • Provide real time metrics based feedback on your form, resulting in faster swim splits with less effort

Bike

You will receive incredible support on the bike and on the road as we ride the Ironman Wisconsin bike course, including:

  • Aid stations and SAG support
  • Ride with VQ Coaches on a 40 mile looped course
  • Learn specific tactics and strategies to use for riding your fastest pace that still enables you to run well off the bike
  • Work on shifting & gearing for changing terrain
  • Practice the nutrition & hydration strategies you learned in our breakout sessions

Run

Our coaches will focus on developing your skills, technique and efficiency to help you have the fastest run splits possible:

  • Master the art of running off the bike
  • Learn how to properly prepare for fast transitions from bike to run
  • Receive individual advice to ensure you get the most out of your run

Breakout Sessions

VQ coaches will have daily swim/bike/run debriefs as well as breakout sessions where you will learn keys to success for:

  • On-the-bike hydration & nutrition
  • Training & race day hydration plans based on sweat testing
  • Pacing strategies
  • Race day gear
