Why do you work in Nutrition? I have always grown up with a love for food, science, and helping people. When choosing a career, it was only natural to choose a profession that included all three elements.

Whether we realize it or not, nutrition is such a key factor and influencer in each and every one of our lives. From health and wellness to language and culture. I’ve always felt food and nutrition have been a common ground that brought people together and I am happy to be a part of that.

Personal Achievements or Publications? “A Comprehensive Approach to Medical Instruction for Children with Type 1 Diabetes”

What is VQ to you? Vision Quest is a gym like no other. To me, VQ has a strong sense of community; allowing its members to grow and become stronger, better athletes.

What can clients expect when working with you? When working with me, you will discover that I do not believe in the “quick-fix” approach nor do I believe in “dieting.” My philosophy is that if you wish to lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks, the fastest approach would be to amputate one of your legs!

Dieting is an old and highly unsuccessful approach. Making the appropriate lifestyle changes and developing a balance is the ultimate key to a healthy lifestyle. Together we will use wholesome, natural foods to improve your performance as well as becoming more confident in your own skin (and clothing!).

Health and proper nutrition, like all good things, take time and practice. If you choose to work alongside me, you will discover that food can be delicious and healthy too! I use goal setting and wholesome, natural foods to help guide and motivate you to achieve sustainable results.

Favorite past time when not working? Reading (nutrition science, historical fiction, or fiction), drawing, cycling, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.
