Bio:

Alex Raske, counselor at Marks & Associates, earned her Masters degree in counseling from Adler University. She is also an Assistant Coach at Mother McAuley High School.

Her expertise includes sports performance coaching, overcoming setbacks (i.e., losses and injuries), pre-performance/race-day/game-day techniques and approaches, and other challenges. She works with high school and college athletes, coaches and teams.

Favorite pastime when not coaching: Working out; playing any sport that keeps me active.

Most memorable moment as a coach: Watching one of my high school athletes start the season with little to no confidence and no starting spot to ending the season as a starter and leading the team with one of the highest batting averages (Most Improved Player).

Words I live by:

- One day at a time.

- Never let the fear of striking out get in your way.

- Be in the moment.
