Why do you coach?: I found a gaping hole in an endurance athlete’s training program. That hole was strength training. A stronger body is a faster body. A stronger body can maintain racing postures for longer. Endurance training puts a lot of stress on the connective tissue, and strength training helps to increase connective tissue strength and development. This training adaption helps make the body more durable and resilient to injury. Strength training produces a more resilient and capable body that compliments endurance training in every aspect.
Why do you work for Vision Quest Coaching? My passion and expertise in strength training and newfound interest in endurance training made coming on board to Vision Quest a natural next step in my fitness and health journey. I look forward to working with each and every one of you and helping you reach your true athletic potential through strength training.
